MATTING

Electrical Insulation Matting conforming to BS921, remains the Matting of Choice for many Live Working Engineers, despite the introduction of BS EN 61111:2009. With a minimum Base Rubber Thickness of 6mm + Ribs the 8-10mm Thick Rubber offers the reassurance that some question with newer and thinner standards.

MacLellan  0352 Grade is a PVC Electrical Inuslative Switchboard Matting for use in Live Working Applications and Tested to ASTM D178-01 Type II Class 2. Manufactured in PVC this Corrugated/Fluted Matting is 6mm Thick with a Recommended Maximum Usage of up to 17000 Volts. 

An old favourite for Live Working Electrical Engineers, this 6mm Thick Material is often seen as a alternative to BS921. Although not officially tested to any specific standard the Thickness is still seen as re-assuring to some over newer and thinner specifications.

High Grade Electrical Insulation Matting that meets the technical requirements of ASTM D178 Type II Class 1.

Specifically designed to be Low Smoke for high safety interior applications around switchgear, it is also widely used on vehicles, commercial vessels and both surface and subsea naval ships where there is a need to protect personnel from risk of smoke inhalation.

Type II Class 1 material is breakdown tested to 20,000 volts, Proof Tested to 10,000 volts and approved for use in applications up to 7,500 Volts.   

Materials are also available to meet Class 2 and Class 3 requirements.

C543 Protection/Acoustic Matting from Recycled Granulated Rubber, with a fine Granulated Structure, that will be mostly black, but due to the recycled nature of the product may contain flecks of other colours. This matting has good acoustic properties is Non Hazourdous and a B2 Fire Rating, with limited resistance to acid and alkaline solutions.

Cushioned Checker Plate Anti Fatigue Matting is a dual layer mat that provides standing workers with Anti Fatigue comfort via the foam base, and both slip and wear resistance via the patterned Vinyl top surface. Suited for use indoors the product incorporates high visibility yellow edging for additional trip resistance and safety.  

Available in 18Mtr rolls at either 900mm or 1200mm width the product can easily be cut to length using hand held tools.

Double Duty Switchboard Matting has a PVC Surface with a Nitrile Infused Sponge base that provides protection from Electrical shocks and first class comfort and safety through the unique non-conductive sponge.  This Switchboard Matting is for use in Live Working Applications and Tested to ASTM D178-01 Type II Class 2. Tested to 30,000 Volts with a Recommended Maximum Usage of up to 17000 Volts.

Elevate AFR is a high visibility matting designed specifically to perform in the highly regulated food processing and preparation industries.

Supplied in rolls 10mtr long x 91cm wide with easy snap
connectors to allow multiple rolls to be linked together to cover longer or wider areas.

Manufactured from a flexible animal fat resistant PVC
infused w/anti-microbial and anti-fungal additive so it is resistant to animal fats and oils. Designed with a 2.9cm x 1.9cm widely spaced grid which enables fluids and by-products to fall through while elevating employees above it.

Solid Top Antifatigue Matting provides comfort and fatigue relief for standing workers over extended periods of time in industrial and commercial environments.  The synthetic rubber mat is designed to be easily connectable through hidden inbuilt plugs and can be fitted with removable high visibility yellow edge ramps.   The material is Oil and Grease resistant and will absorb impacts from heavy objects.

Ideal for use as a anti fatigue mat in packaging and work areas or on larger floors such as gyms.

Supplied in 910mm x 910mm sheets at 17mm Thick the mat is easy to lay, uplift and move or replace as required.
