Meet the team - Taysia

Hi! My name is Taysia and I’m MacLellan Rubber’s newest apprentice team member! I like to think of myself as a friendly person that likes to dabble in everything, a jack of all trades if you will! I have found that once I put effort into something, I can acquire a skill in many different fields.

I previously studied Chemistry and Maths in college as this was once a passion of mine. I am also a very creative person, I like to draw and design on any material, whether its clothing, digitally or just on a piece of paper, you may have already seen some of my designs on MacLellan Rubber’s Instagram. I also worked in a fast food place for a time, working there piqued my curiosity on what exactly went into running a successful business as becoming an entrepreneur is just one of my many future ambitions.

That brings me to why I’m here at MacLellan Rubber, my goal for becoming an apprentice was to find a well-established company with an executive willing to teach me everything there is to know about business. Here at MacLellan’s I work closely under Andrew Onions who guides me and allows me to consistently learn and develop my skills as an administrator. I mainly focus on keeping track of records and managing information. I also help to solve any problems or query’s a customer may have with an order. My time here as an apprentice is just one important stop along the road to a long and successful career in Business and I am looking forward to working with all of MacLellan’s customers!
