So today is #NationalPetDay... but what is National Pet Day?

Since 2006, the 11th of April each year is reserved for us all to celebrate and pamper our Pets, weather they be cats, dogs, lizards, birds, snakes, rats, or countless other wonderful creatures, not only in the UK across the globe as the "holidays" popularity has grown and gained global recognition in across Europe and as far a field as America, Australia, and New Zealand.
