Now taking orders for Blue EPDM EU1935 Food Quality Rubber Sheeting

MacLellan Rubber are now taking orders for EU1935 Food Quality Blue EPDM that also complies with 2023/2006.

This product is 100% certified manufactured in Europe, Fully Reach & Rohs Compliant and meets new European Rigorous Requirements for Articles used in the Food Industry.

Simon Winfield commented "It now seems that the Food Industry is now starting to address the requirements of EU1935, and as such MacLellan Rubber is expanding both its range and stocks to meet the needs of our customers across Europe".

Any polymer products that may come into contact with Food, during the manufacturing or processing, must comply with the requirements of EU1935:2004. This is substantially different to the requirements of FDA. It should also be noted that there appears to be an assumption in the industry that all White Rubber is Food Safe, this is certainly not the case.
