At MacLellan Rubber we are constantly striving to improve and are currently seeing a number of projects that have been in the development or planning stages start to have an impact where it matters improving our service to customers.
We have taken some major advances forward to improve our product availability and have reached our target of increasing our stock holding by over 40% which equates to a whopping 200 Tonnes more than we were holding last year. This has been a managed increase and timed to coincide with a strengthening economy and customer demand, and as part of our joined up strategy we are about to confirm a long term lease for our existing Distribution Centre along with an additional 10,000 Square Feet of new warehousing facility to accommodate the additional stocks. The additional space will also help us to restructure & improve our Warehouse Operations that will see us react quicker to the needs of both old and new customers and we are also looking at ways to strengthen our Technical Department into a new and dedicated workspace. We also continue to develop the MacLellan Team and following successful completion by our original apprentices of their Level 2 NVQ Qualifications we are now looking to hone in their skills into specialist areas. Shelleen Forbes has just completed her entry level Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and will now move onto level 2 of the same, and Maddie Nock has already started her Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service. The above, coupled with investments in further enhancements to our CRM and Integrated Telephone System, bring us closer to meeting our goals for excellence in Customer Service, and development of the business as a Premier Supplier. The speed of development at MacLellan Rubber continues to gather pace, so please talk to us about what we can do to help you develop your business.
