All raw materials used in the manufacture of MacLellan Rubber’s Food Grade Rubber Sheeting’s are selected to comply with the most stringent standards relating to foodstuff contact and the control process to avoid cross contamination.

EC 1935/2004 Regulation

This European regulation establishes the need of limit on the migration of constituents into or onto food.

All our rubber sheeting qualities for foodstuff contact pass rigorous migration tests.

EC 2023/2006 Regulation

This European regulation specifies the rules on good manufacturing practice for the materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

Our manufacturing processes fully comply with this regulation.

Federal Drug Agency (FDA)

The materials are in compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part. 177. Indirect Food Additives: Polymers. Sec177.2600 (USA), positive list and migration test.

REACH

No substances on the current SVHC candidate list are in our food grade compounds.

PROP 65

Our food grade qualities do not contain chemicals included in the Proposition 65 list.

All of our Food Grade Materials are:

ADI free.

Phthalates and Bisphenol A free.

Nitrosamine
