As business’s make greater strides to reduce their CO2 emissions and increase the recyclability of their products, the pressure to develop more environmentally friendly Rubber Sheet materials has increased over recent years.  It is only now as investment in processing technology has increased, and with demand primarily from global consumers in the tyre industry, that breakthroughs are being made.    

Renewably Sourced & Environmentally Sustainable

There are several key developments that will enable MacLellan Rubber to shortly release its EnviroPolymer-EP rubber sheeting materials which are more sustainable and more environmentally friendly than anything else available in the market.

·         Plant Based Oils

EnviroPolymer is a range Rubber Sheeting produced from sustainably sourced raw materials which we are targeting to be 95% renewably sourced.

Early tests show MacLellan’s EnviroPolymer-EP product will provide excellent mechanical properties, are Reach and R0HS compliant, PAH Free and have chemical resistance in line with high grade materials we already supply to the market.
