Following an already busy year of exports across the globe, MacLellan Rubber's reputation for quality and service has been rewarded with a major new order for commercial and high grade Rubber Sheeting from one of our long-standing clients, supporting oilfield maintenance in Eastern Europe.

At nearly 24 metric tonnes with a mix of product grades from
Neoprene and
Nitrile up to Chemours
Viton™, and thicknesses from 1.5mm to 12mm, the logistics of packing one of the largest single shipments the company has undertaken for several years, and ensuring that it arrives in pristine conditions, was critical.
Negotiation on exact requirements was undertaken over six weeks during which time the business was able to stock up on the required materials to ensure there was limited impact on our other customers.
Director, Simon Winfield, said: "We have been a key supplier to this client for many years and it is often difficult to predict the size and mix of their demand, especially given the difficult commercial conditions within the petrochemical industry."
He added: "MacLellan's have seen a significant upturn in demand for all of our products and we have reacted accordingly by adding new warehouse space, increasing stock holdings of core products and adding to our operational team - all of which has enabled us to process this substantial order smoothly and without compromising our ability to meet day to day customer demands."
