Hydrogenated Nitrile is normally abbreviated to HNBR and is also known as Highly Saturated Nitrile. A Higher performance material than NBR, achieved through adding Hydrogen Atoms to the Butadiene Segments. This makes the Rubber Sheeting more resistant to Oils & Gasses (including Sour Gas), improves its physical properties and increases the working temperature range.
MacLellan's also manufacture this material as Rubber Sheeting with metal mesh insertion for high pressure applications.
