Flame Retardancy

Flame Retardency is an indication of a Materials resistance to support combustion after removal of direct flame. Normally expressed as meeting a Standard such as Ford Motor Vehicle Specification FMVS3302, UL94 or ASTM D178. Materials in this product group may also be designed to be self exstinguishing and/or low smoke.

Rubber Sheeting with this characteristic will normally have a percentage of Chlorine within the formulation.
