AMS is the abreviation of American Military Standard and refers to a product that is manufactured to meet the requirements of a Published American Military Standard such as mil-R, mil-P.

The Standards refer to a range of materials in Solid Rubber, Sponge Rubber and Non Asbestos Jointing which are used for Gaskets and Seals.
