High Speed Race Track Barriers

MacLellan materials approved by Federation International de Motorcyclisme ( F.I.M.) for use in the manufacture of high impact Crash Barriers and awaiting approval by Federation Internationale de lAutomobile (F.I.A.). MacLellan were approached with a brief to provide a material that would survive repeated high speed impacts without material rupture as a permanent external structure to meet new industry legislation.

We recommended one of our premium EPDM formulations with a high tear fabric reinforcement which was submitted for testing to the HOIBA MIRA Research Centre.

All professional racing activities are governed by either the F.I.M. and F.I.A. and MacLellan were elated to receive official notice of our material approval after many months of intensive testing and evaluation both in the laboratory and on test tracks.
