Viton ™ Fluorodyn ™ Caulk Sealant

This revolutionary caulk based on Viton ™ fluoroelastomer produced in conjunction with The Chemours Company provides excellent sealing for flanges linging for pipes and thermal power station flues.

Flourodyn ®  Caulk made with Viton ™ is compounded with 75% Solids making it an easy to apply single component Caulk.

It is resistant even in its uncured state to virtually all Chemicals including Nitric, Sulphuiric and Hydrochloric Acids.

Supplied in 71ml, 320ml and 850ml caulking tubes for use with a Caulking/Sealant Gun.

Carboxylated Nitrile (XNBR) is a special type of nitrile polymer that exhibits enhanced tear and abrasion resistance while retaining excellent oil and solvent resistance.

XNBR compounds also provide high tensile strength and good physical properties at high temperatures.

A high performance FoodSafe material that helps pharmaceutical and food manufacturers to reduce the risk of product contamination by early detection and containment of contamination. The material is electrically conductive so fragments as small as 2mm can be identifed by in-line metal detection and X-ray equipment.

The material is certified to meet the requirements of FDA CFR21 Section 177.2600 and EU1935, and is Animal Derived Ingredients (ADI) Free.
